Even though I heart my Kindle, nothing can replace my love for books and libraries. There is something wonderfully inviting yet imposing about libraries and for me its easy to get lost in the world of Hemingway, Tolstoy and Jane Austen. However the traditional library has made way for the more contemporary successor and listed below are some of the most beautiful modern libraries.
The Baiyun Mountain of Books
The Andre Malraux Library
Public Library for Lodz designed by Maciek Grelewicz
The National Library of Belarus With LED Display
Modern Library University at Tokyo Japan by Toyo Ito
The Idea Store Whitechapel in London
Seattle Public Library’s Central Library
The Czech National Library
Black Diamond at the Royal Library Copenhagen
Philadelphia’s Parkway Central Library
Modern Library Design by Bosch & Fjord
