Straight from the Canadian Museum of Flight in Langley, British Columbia comes the cylinder radial engine base of this phenomenal coffee table. It doesn’t get much simpler or more fascinating than a sheet of glass balanced atop a historic piece of aviation used in WWII, displayed in the middle of a conversation space for all to admire. Obviously, it isn’t every day you can just casually set your latte down on top of – and, for that matter, stare straight into the soul of — a late-1930s US Army Boeing-Stearman PT-13, but it became possible at the Decoratum Gallery in London, where the piece recently went on display (not to mention on sale for a mere £19,750).
